Closing Prophetic Word
Passionate Worship bring forth INCREASE
Psalm 67 King James Version (KJV)
67 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
True Vine as we are preparing to move into 2015, I want us to close out the year and enter the New Year with what we have been calling “Passionate Worship.” Look at the phase “Let the people praise thee.” This phase is mentioned four times in the text. One cannot help but gather that God intends for His people to praise Him. Praise is to our spiritual health. Praise is that spiritual part of us that connect to God even when we are bombarded with trouble.
We can praise God individually and we can praise Him corporately or congregationally. The text leading us to praise Him corporately! True Vine let us close out the year we intend to continue in 2015, “praising God.” Plan to be here on December 31st for our Watch Night Service. Let’s make this Watch Night Service one of the biggest and best we gave ever had here at True Vine.
There is a Prophetic Word for us in the text. Examine Vv6. “Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.” God wants to bring INCREASE to us, but that only comes after we PRAISE Him. INCREASE is coming to us! God is shifting! God had moved from where He was to where He is taking us.
