I greet you people of God, in the name of our most beloved Jesus, our Lord. The Advent season is upon us once again. It is my privilege to address you at the onset of this very important season in the life of the Church. It is OUR season that prepares us for the great feast of Christmas, the celebration of the birth of the infant Jesus; as we also look for the return of Christ. At this particular moment in time, I want to share with you Advent Season Reflection Guide.
First, as I read this verse, The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only son” John 1:14, NIV. At the heart of Christianity is the claim that God became one of us, which is what we mean when we speak of the Incarnation. The God whom cannot be contained by time and space, became a human being at a particular time and in a particular place.
This is what we celebrate through Advent and the Christmas season. Christmas is a wonderful time to start a family tradition, especially when it’s focused on celebrating the coming of Jesus Christ. I pray that Advent Season Reflection Guide will help you and your loved ones meditate on the Savior—and that it will become a blessing to your family for generations to come.
Second, As you gather your loved ones for your Advent Reflection, we pray that the Holy Spirit would shine upon you and guide you throughout, all of your Christmas celebrations: “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11, ESV).
Finally, Let us invoke the Holy Spirit to guide us during this Season of Advent in knowing, Jesus, the Son of God more deeply and to believe in him wholeheartedly
May the grace and peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!
