Children's Youth Ministry

Children’s Ministry in not one of the easiest ministries that we offer here at True Vine Church. Here is why?

If you have been working in our Children’s Ministry, or what we affectionately call Anointed Children of Excellence (A.C.E.), you would have found out that we have some of the smartest children you will ever come across. You would have found out that our Children’s Ministry is not ONLY about Children; it’s about developing our children to become all that God has called them to be. Our Children’s Ministry is about reaching the mind, heart, and vision of God. Therefore, your responsibility as a leader in A.C.E. is Threefold:

  1. Impact the lives of those you touch
  2. Provide consistent LEADERSHIP
  3. Involvement of time, energy and talent

GROW
Grow is not just to grow in numbers, but to help our children grow naturally and spiritually. Grow is an all-inclusive team. Grow is also about helping our children to Grow as DISCIPLES, to GROW in DISCIPLINE, to GROW in EXCELLENCE, and to GROW into their ANOINTING

H.O.T.T (Holders Of The Torch) Mentoring Ministry

Objectives:

  • To prepare for life after high school
  • To educate youth about the necessary life skills that will enable them to become future leaders in Church and society.

We will accomplish these objectives by:

  • Conducting monthly programs to teach youth a different life skill or life experience
  • Putting youth into groups which will provide an element of teamwork and accountability
  • Assigning youth with mentors who will be an additional resource for information

Roles and Responsibilities of Mentors:

  • To develop positive relationships with mentees
  • To gain experience which will prove useful in other areas of life
  • To communicate the mentor’s life experiences and insights to mentees
  •  To develop a network of support for mentees
  • To attend and actively participate in monthly worship services
  • To attend monthly sessions and participate with mentees
  • To have fun

Roles and Responsibilities of Mentees:

  • To develop positive a positive relationship with mentor
  • To set and achieve personal and spiritual goals
  • To develop self-respect, self-esteem and responsible behavior 
  • To develop confidence and competence in academic, profession, social, and biblical skills
  • To make positive decisions about the future
  • To attend and actively participate in monthly worship services
  • To attend monthly sessions and participate with mentors
  • To have fun.

Usher & Greeters Ministry

An usher is a spiritual ambassador for our church – God’s ordained and organized body of believers. Each usher serves as a “first representative” of Jesus Christ for our church, especially at our worship services. Though we all love the creative edge of our worship services, make no mistake, this is a holy event where God “meets” with His people.
